Name: Ember-Rain Sophia Gordy "Rain, Air or Sof"
Gender: female
Age: 16
City/State/Country: Compton, California, USA
Appearance: Ember-Rain looks like your average tom boy. She does on occasion dress nicely in a skirt or rather look more like a girl. She lives in the rough parts of LA and she doesn't want anything trendy or nice because you could get beat up for such things. She has a scare under her right eye from being on the wrong side of her father's fist and a scare on her right knee from falling as a child. Her eyes though they seem caring looks as though they could peer right into your soul. Her hair does what it likes but if she pays attention it can be straight or nicely waved.
Personality: Ember can sometimes be a hard person to read. She's the quieter than her twin brother who speaks for her when they are together most of the time. She loves to dance and she loves marine animal life. She loves to be around water. Get her in her element and she'll talk to you other wise she will stay in her shell. You do not want to piss her off though. She can keep her head on pretty straight in bad situations and knows what it means to play the game of survival of the fittest. It would be a big mistake to ever underestimate this girl or her brother for that matter.
History: Ember-Rain was born on a rather cold day. It was raining outside when she and her brother came into the world on their kitchen floor. They were rushed to the hospital with their mother whom they never really got to know because she didn't survive their birth for longer than a day. The twins were mainly taken care of by their father and older brothers. Their elder brothers were five years apart from them.
Ember was a rather easy child to take care of. Her father on the other hand could not stand her regardless of how easy she was to take care of. She was the constant reminder of the woman that he lost. As she grew older she became the one that would be beat for any little thing that went wrong. It took awhile but her brother finally figured out why their little sister wouldn't even let them touch her. They got it to stop for awhile.
She excelled in school which made everyone else proud. She even helped her twin who had ADD. She of course had other problems and they both knew how to take care of eachother very well when in school. She didn't even have to beg her marine biology teacher into funding herself and her brother to go on this trip.
Her older brother are still in the process of gaining custody of the twins form their father. Now in their current situation things seem a bit less bad then when at home.

NOTE: READ THE RULES FOR RESTRICTIONS! Though little in number, restrictions are VERY important. If you feel uncertain about something, PM Kitty Dearing or me.
*Kitty Dearing note: Yes. And then if we're uncertain we'll talk about it together while we jump out of airplanes or target pizza guys with bows and arrows-you know, normal stuff. And then if we're STILL uncertain we'll cry about it and wipe our noses on our infinite amount of books.*
